Membership discounts and benefits are valid only while the membership is active. Discounts cannot be combined with other promotions (sibling discounts) or applied retroactively to previous purchases.
UPPER EAST SIDE STUDIO, CLASS PACK, CAMP & DROP-IN CLASS POLICIES
Arrivals/Departures: Typically run classes every hour in 45 minute increments. We allow 15 minutes in between classes for clean-up, set up, and a moment for kids to get out & gear up for their activities in a safe manner. We ask that you arrive no more than 10 minutes before the start your class to allow for the previous one to dismiss and for our staff to prepare for your activity. Please email us hello@zing-kids.com if you need special accommodations.
All classes and class packs are non-refundable. We understand that kids are kids and that sometimes you might not be able to make it to your scheduled session. For individual classes, we’ll do what we can to grant your child access into another class as a makeup session. Class cancellations must be made at least 5 hours before class starts or else you forfeit any makeup credit. We use the HiSawyer platform for all class bookings. In order to cancel through your Sawyer Account, go to CALENDAR—>UPCOMING—>SUBMIT CANCELLATION REQUEST. We will send you a makeup token that you can apply towards your next visit. If you cancel after the 5 hour mark, your makeup credit is not guaranteed. No reunds or credit will be given for unused classes or missed classes without advanced email notice.
All class packages must be paid in advance of the program start and in full or through the verified payment plan in Sawyer. We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule classes at any time to accommodate for holidays, special events or the like. No refunds or credit will be granted due to schedule changes. We’ll always do what we can to schedule makeup classes at the discretion of the Zing! Team.
The Zing! UES Studio will always do its best to stay open and operating for the wellbeing of the community. However, in the interest of safety, all programs may be cancelled due to inclement weather conditions, manmade or by acts of any God. There are no refunds for closures that result due to the aforementioned. If we need to cancel classes due to the conditions previously listed, we will send out a notification via email and text message. Please make sure your emails and phone numbers are up-to-date for any last minute, urgent class notifications.
All deposits for birthday parties, special events & classes are non-refundable.
Parents and Caretakers for children 2 and under MUST actively participate in the classes with us for maximum safety & engagement. Parents and Caretakers of 3 year old children, must stay in the studio for the duration of class, but are not required to actively participate. Parents and Caretakers of children 4 years old and up are welcome to stay in the studio or step out for the duration of class. If you choose to drop off your child, you MUST be back within 5 minutes before a class is scheduled to an end to pick-up your child. For example, if we have a class from 10:30AM-11:15AM, you must be back by the studio between 11:10AM-11:15AM for pick-up. If you are late to pick-up your child, then we must allocate our staff to support your child and this will result in a late pick-up fee. Late fees will be charged to your Sawyer account at $25 per child.
Sick policy: To keep our Zing! community healthy, we ask that children stay home if they’re showing signs of an illness. Please email helllo@zing-kids.com to schedule a makeup date for your child!
For Camps, there are no refunds. If you are late, your child might be left behind from the start of an activity. Missed days/activities will not be refunded or credited. Tardiness is discourteous to others and disruptive, so please be on time. We understand emergencies happen. Please communicate ASAP with us. If you are late to pick up your child, you risk added late fees as noted above.
We understand that things change (kids get sick, schedules get mixed up, etc.). If a child has a doctor’s note and is injured/unable to attend because of an extreme physical impairment, we will consider a credit depending upon enrollment numbers, lead time to the event, and the injury. There is a fee for any cancellations for any programs. Illnesses such as colds, fevers, viral infections or the like do not apply. Acts of any god, weather related cancelations, scheduling mistakes, etc. are not reasons for refunds. We are a small business, staff for the number of kids enrolled, and cancellations and requests for credits impact us greatly both for the current event and the future event you plan to attend. We also reserve the right to cancel or modify camps due to low or extremely high enrollment.
Before participating in any Zing! Kids program, all families are required to complete a quick online waiver. It only takes a minute and helps us ensure a safe, fun experience for everyone.

Yes! Inclusivity is the name of our game and we believe that fitness is something every child has a right to! If your child is able to, we welcome them to join any of our existing classes. Please feel free to email us in advance at hello@zing-kids.com so we can make sure to set up a welcoming space and adaptive curriculum for your child and you. Additionally, we set up pod-style/private classes, which you can organize with a group of kids at similar levels. When signing up for class, please check the “what to bring” section of the Class Details. For most classes, all your child will need is a water bottle and socks (if they’re not comfortable being barefoot). In some instances, several children prefer to have a sweat towel on hand and for some programs (like our up and coming Run Club), we will ask for certain requests/layers of clothing.

We will not offer camps during our “opening month” as we are adjusting to a new space and new activities. That said, we will be offering mini-camps when school is out towards the end of the summer and into the following school year. Please feel free to email us hello@zing-kids.com with any feedback/special requests. Stay tuned!

All children 2 years of age and under MUST be accompanied by an adult who is actively involved in the classes. If you and your child are comfortable, starting at age 3, you can pull back and relax. In the cooler months, we offer some seating in the studio and wifi, so you can do what you need while we take care of your amaZING kiddo! In the warmer months, you can sit outside and go to one of the several cafes/coffee shops nearby. If you choose to leave the studio, you MUST be back 5 minutes before class ends (example: if class ends at 4:30PM, you must be back at 4:25PM) to pick up your child. If you are late, you risk a late fee.

For all Zing! Fit Tots classes, we will have select stroller parking. If you need to bring a stroller for older kids (they need one or for another child), indoor space might be limited and you will need to use our outdoor stroller area, which is not enclosed/locked OR you will need to fully close your stroller. This said, after our June opening, we will note which classes (when booking) as indoor stroller parking so you can plan. We are a family & mom-owned business, so we get it! Feel free to reach out to us and we’ll do what we can to support you!

Our bathroom is set up with a changing table and is stocked with a variety of wipes, diapers, tissues, and more. No sweat in this department!

Great question! For afternoon classes, please not arrive more than 10 minutes before the start time to allow for class transitions, clean-up, etc. Please note that our team will be setting up for the activity during this time, but you are more than welcome to come early to get yourself settled, use the restroom, and make sure your child is ready to workout with us!

We understand how hard it is to manage a toddler and baby at once! If your toddler is signed up for our Tots class, you an bring the baby, but the adult must be able to support the toddler, if needed (especially if under 3 years old). The class is designed for toddlers, but we understand that depending on where your baby is at developmentally, they might enjoy parts of the class, such as the obstacle course, the dance party, or the warm-up (plus watching big kids move is a blast!). We can work with you a case-by-case basis and wouldn’t charge for the baby since they can’t participate in the entire activity. Email us hello@zing-kids.com with questions!
